Your Throne Oh God is Forever

In this exploration of Psalm 45, we're invited to see a prophetic picture of Christ as our heavenly King and His relationship with the Church as His bride. The psalm, while seemingly about an earthly king's wedding, points us to a greater truth - our eternal union with Jesus. We're challenged to consider how 'fair' or attractive Christ is to us, not in physical appearance, but in His character, grace, and truth. Are we drawn to His righteousness and humility? The message urges us to 'leave and cleave' - to abandon worldly ways and cling tightly to our relationship with Jesus. This spiritual marriage demands our full commitment, reminding us that our love for Christ should surpass all other loves. As we reflect on this, let's examine our hearts: Are we truly 'all in' for Jesus? Have we fully accepted His proposal, evidenced by the Holy Spirit as our 'engagement ring'? This psalm encourages us to look forward to our future with Christ, reminding us of the joy and glory that await us in His presence.
